Bitcoin (BTC) hovers above $77,000 on Friday, holding steady with minor gains after Tuesday’s 3% decline. Bitcoin holds steady as the Bank of Japan (BOJ) raises interest rates from 1% to 1.25% on Friday. Near Protocol (NEAR) and Uniswap (UNI) record double-digit gains over the last 24 hours, emerging as top performers.

Bitcoin holds above $75,000
Bitcoin hovers around $77,000 at press time on Friday, holding a mixed near-term bias as price steadies after a 4% decline last week. BTC remains above the 50-, 100-, and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) at $73,835, $71,606, and $73,171, respectively, hinting at an underlying uptrend.
Momentum has cooled on the daily chart, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) hovering near a neutral 53 and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) drifting toward zero, suggesting that bullish pressure is easing.
Looking up, the overhead support-turned-resistance trendline near $82,500, followed by the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement level of the $97,924 to $57,800 upswing, at $87,476, could serve as the next bullish targets.

On the downside, initial support is seen at the 50% Fibonacci retracement level of $75,233, ahead of higher barriers at the 50- and 200-day EMAs, clustered around $73,835 and $73,171.
Near Protocol extends gains on confidential perpetuals
Near Protocol announced the launch of confidential perpetuals with Hyperliquid, allowing traders to hold on-chain positions without revealing ownership. This will help traders maintain privacy on the public blockchain.

NEAR is up 2% on Friday, advancing its 20% gains from the previous day. The altcoin maintains a firm bullish bias as price holds well above the 50-, 100- and 200-day EMAs at $2.13, $1.98, and $1.89, respectively, reinforcing a constructive medium-term structure.
Near Protocol is inching closer to its 52-week high of $3.34 recorded on September 19, 2025. From a technical perspective, the recent recovery has surpassed the 100% Fibonacci anchor at $3.08, measured over the previous downswing to $1.53. A confirmed breakout above $3.08 could target the 127.2% Fibonacci extension level at $3.73.
The RSI at 77 hovers deep in overbought territory while the MACD and signal line extend upward, hinting at strong yet potentially stretched upside momentum.

On the downside, immediate support is now aligned at the prior 100% Fibonacci retracement near $3.08, with additional cushions at the 78.6% level around $2.65.
Uniswap extends rally toward $10
Uniswap trades near $7.9520, maintaining a clear bullish bias as the price holds well above the 50-, 100-, and 200-day EMAs, which are clustered between roughly $5.32 and $4.39. The DeFi token has also pushed through the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement at $7.48, measured from $10.30 to $2.31, turning it into a nearby support level.
The path of least resistance for UNI projects the Fibonacci anchor at $10.30 as the next bullish target.
The RSI around 73 suggests an overbought condition yet strong upside momentum, as the MACD resurfaces above the signal line, reinforcing the constructive tone.

On the downside, the 78.6% retracement at $7.48 forms the first support, followed by the 50-day EMA at $5.32, followed by the 50% retracement level at $4.88.
