A 6% rebound the previous day leaves Quant (QNT) trading near $189 on Monday, with bulls seeking to build on September’s rally. Firm retail demand for the Decentralised Finance (DeFi) token is reflected in QNT Open Interest holding above $90 million. As downward momentum fades, the technical picture points to the possibility of a rebound from the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) near $171.

Retail participation in Quant’s leveraged market remains robust. According to CoinGlass, QNT Open Interest (OI) has risen to $92.98 million from $87.90 million the previous day, suggesting that the retreat from $192.16 million on 5 October is stabilising. The levelling off in the notional value of outstanding contracts suggests that both the spot price decline and the clearing out of positions have eased, implying that traders are anticipating gains.

Following September’s 370% rally, QNT retains a positive bullish bias and trades at $189 at the time of writing on Monday. Signs of price stability are emerging near the 50-day EMA at $171. That average remains comfortably above the 200-day EMA at $109, reinforcing the favourable longer-term outlook.
Supporting the recovery from the 50-day EMA is the 50% retracement level at $150, measured from $60 to $373, which now provides a base for the advance. If a break above last week’s high of $212 is confirmed, the uptrend could resume, opening a path towards the $373 peak.
With the negative histogram contracting, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line remains slightly below its signal line, suggesting a gradual transition towards sideways trading. Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is just under the neutral 50 level. Together, these signals point to consolidation rather than strong selling pressure.
Should prices fall, the 50-day EMA at $171 offers immediate support, with further reinforcement from the 50% retracement level at $150.
