Why do people still use MT4?

People still use MT4 because it is simple, familiar, widely supported by brokers, and well suited to technical analysis and automated trading. It supports custom indicators, chart templates, Expert Advisors, trading signals, and mobile access, which keeps it practical for traders who already have an established workflow on the platform. MT5 is newer, but many forex traders remain on MT4 because its broker compatibility and extensive third-party marketplace still support the strategies they use.
